OpenG Package Installer (OGPI) Overview

The OGPI consists of an API which provides services to the OpenG Package Manager and other high-level tools. There are

OGPI Design Goals

Single File Package

Packages should be distributed as a single compressed file. This will allow easier distribution and management of packages

Cross-Platform Support

Package files should be able to be created and installed on any platform that LabVIEW will run.

Multi-Platform and LabVIEW Version Support within Packages

Package files should be able to contain files that will be selectively installed based on OS, LabVIEW Version, LabVIEW Systems, etc.
